My name is Frank and I was born in 1963 in Venlo, Netherlands. I discovered my passion for painting over 25 years ago and I have been expressing myself through my art ever since.

A painting to me means to capture a moment of beauty and wonder through colors and forms. As a painter I find it very gratifying if my art, even if only for a brief moment, mesmerizes the spectators.

My work ranges from realistic to abstract, but the focus is often on people. Another characteristic is the use of bright transparent colors applied with a palette knife.

I am currently based in Nuenen, Netherlands where I have my family and my atelier.
